Lake Pointe Sports is an outreach ministry of Lake Pointe Church of Rockwall, Texas.  The purpose of LP Sports is to provide children with a non-competitive, non-threatening environment in which to learn the basic skills of sports. 

Currently, Lake Pointe Sports offers three sports seasons and summer sports camps.  The fall season offers soccer and flag football, winter offers basketball, and the spring season offers a choice of soccer and baseball or softball.  All sports are open to both boys and girls.  Basketball and flag football are available to children currently in 1st-8th grades while all other sports are available for children as young as 4 years old.  Summer camps will include four-day sessions of all sports offered.

It is the belief of Lake Pointe Sports that all children should be given equal opportunity to play and that all children should leave the field with a smile on their face regardless of the outcome of the game.  Our goal is to build the self-esteem of all players and for every player to have a great time playing sports.
